2019 Taurus Offers Four Trims & is Feature-Rich

This year, there are four trim levels of the Taurus to consider. The base model is called the SE. Its notable features include solar-tinted glass windows, power-operated side mirrors with blind spot monitoring, and LED tail lights. Another notable highlight of this trim level is that it comes with a security keypad system that lets you get into the car if you've left your key elsewhere. Inside, the SE features an interior packed with goodies, including air conditioning, carpeted floor mats, and a center console in the front seat with extra storage and cup holders. There are three grab handles for convenience, and the latest Taurus comes with reading lamps. A backup camera helps you get out of tough parking spaces, and a rear window defroster makes it easy to drive around in winter conditions.

The next trim level is the SEL. This trim level adds a cool Ice Blue instrument lighting background. Its additional features include a leather-wrapped shift knob, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and standard satellite radio in addition to the base AM/FM radio that the base model offers. There are more available amenities with this trim too, including optional navigation with the infotainment system. Following the SEL is the Limited. This trim level builds on the SEL's offerings with heated leather-trimmed seats. It also comes with more standard safety features, including driver-assist aids like frontal collision avoidance and lane departure warning. The Limited gets a distinct look from first glance with chrome-accented mirrors, auto-dimming side mirrors, and a driver memory setting. This trim level's optional amenities include a power-operated moonroof and an automatic reverse system. You also have the option of adding special floor liners and a cargo organizer package on this trim level.

Last but not least is the SHO. This trim level adds a premium wood-accented steering wheel, remote start capability, and premium leather seats. It also has custom interior "SHO" accents, including hand-stitched emblems, to distinguish it from the other trim levels.
